Use the Homepage Password to create a password protection for you Homepage.
The Program Homepage Password installed the password protection independently from the homepage program. Copy the password protection into the home page. The home page directory and all subdirectories are a password protected.
The password protection consists of 2 files:
- .htaccess - This file controls the access protection.
- .htpasswd - This file contains the user names with the passwords.
- If you want to access to a safe internet page, you have to enter a username and a password. The password will be saved by the browser, until the browser is closed. The password will be send to the www-server again and again. The password has to be entered anew when you restart the browser.
